How to use the Services tab

Collision estimates are not included yet (please continue using the Upload an Estimate path for collision)

You can now build, view, and edit structured estimates directly in the ServiceUp shop portal, instead of uploading a PDF. This experience replaces PDFs as the primary workflow for mechanical estimates and keeps everything in one place, reducing re-uploads when some services are approved, and others are not.

Two ways to create an estimate: 

You’re still in control of how you send estimates. For each repair order, you can choose one of the following paths:

  • Build an estimate using Shop Services (new)

  • Upload an Estimate (existing)

 

Build an estimate path

  1. Services created in the Services tab remain drafts until you click Send to Customer. Customers won’t be able to review or approve anything until it’s sent.

  2. Any time you add or update services, you’ll need to resend the estimate using Send to Customer for approval.

Change your mind? 

  1. Delete the draft services

  2. Go to the chat tab

  3. Select Upload an Estimate to continue with a PDF
