Why was my estimate declined?

  • An estimate will be declined for one of two reasons: price caps and decommissioning. 
    • If certain work is over the Amazon price caps, the service advisor will inform you what the price must be in order to get approval. If you are not able meet the price cap, please inform the service advisor. 
    • If Amazon deems the cost for repair is higher than the value of the vehicle, Amazon will decommission the vehicle. When decommissioning happens, the original estimate is no longer viable but you will be asked to submit an estimate with just the diagnostic charges. In order to do this, you would click the “New Supplement” button. You will then be able to upload your invoice for the diagnostic charge.
